Can anyone really replicate a firefly?
Can you entice fireflies with a light?
The first question: No Way, reason is too many species and flash rates.
Sure, any Light can, any flashing light will do the trick.
*We are sad to see some scientists sell themselves to some, and say things contradicting the scientific facts**
There for, we are thankful & proud of our support teams.
Our Challenges:
Challenges were as simple as one group told us: well there are over 2000 fire fly mobile species, how are you going to be able to say that you are able to make it act like the real beetle firefly?
Frankly, this took us back in R&D, for almost 2 years; we could not establish any common grounds with all the fireflies, at least direct lighting system that could do the job, **nor anyone can at all.
Reason is, are we going to make our devices have the Flashing patterns, and that diverts to many more issues, like when to flash, and weather they are Male or a Female, height they are flying and many more factors. The great point was, almost all of our engineers seen fireflies in their backgrounds.
**No one can claim *honestly* that they can do such a tedious task, other wise; they will end with so many models and names that will need a large listing.
**We picked few & hard to find of the Natural FireFlies patterns and implanted them into our flashing patterns. Still it was an impossible task to achieve, and we did. The myth of 570-wave length is just a simple un-scientific fact, a fraction/fiction of the whole fact.
Another challenging fact that demonstrated to us by our highly qualified web master (Andy Caddy) one of the top 10 IT's in the world who dose NOT SLEEP, and a Hollywood type photographer/ producer/designer (Carlos) from CML Productions, in a form of a high-tech question:
Q: How to: demonstrate our products on a, web site? Where anyone can have an exact idea about what we are selling, the best way? Which camera, what lens, speed and more.
The answer was almost; no way. Yet it has many angles or ways to look at it. We share with you all info.
LED's are not Fireflies. It merely simulates the flashing.
An Excellent programmer like our Top engineer: Bradster did achieve it by many hard tasks and long hours of working, testing each segment of the flash patterns.
It came at a very high cost to the company, which we called it "the black hole" it did not show us good results back in 2003. Brads did it well later on. With so many species, would it be faster or slower flashing?
At last, we did what Most People liked after a long survey.
One fact we missed, that we did design the right LED, at the correct needs to our products, and this came from an extremely smart engineer from a very different industry: Smart Weapons, early 2004, Scott, did implement a small design and color charts, low voltage and the works. Then Brad Peetrs took over and turned the tables to the best one can design.
We thank Cindy Otto and Alan Riley from Microchip Technology, Inc. for the excellent support.
We salute all of those who made us the # 1, in the World today. We salute MacIver, for his excellent and honest advice, this Irish man worked free, advising us all the way, we wish him the Best.
Our list is long, & we do not forget Ernest Shiwanov, who took it as a personal matter to see our products shine and well explained to his best.
Dr.Landu, who was there always to answer any concerns we had.
Prince/Dr. Ahmad from Dubai for the time.
Moreover, my Army buddy Frank, for his editing and technical support.
Thank you all very much, and wish you all, the best of the best.
