Our clients bought those to change light color display, example:
They bought XC-24 (or any model) with the Yellow-Green light display, but the also wanted to double it elsewhere with the Astro-White/star light, so they can just move the controller unit and plug the connector on the back, so now they have same unit, moved to another location, yet wire sets are another color, without un-installing the original wire set.
Other use is, I have a longer wire set, but now need shorter wire set to install on tree, bushes, kid’s playroom or anything else.
