We presently have 2 series each with 4 products ( an indoor and an out door version) all eight models come in your choice of Yellow/Green(medows-green) or Astro/white(star-light) lights.

2. How large a space is twenty-four (24) eFireFlies lights display system designed to cover? Back to top
A. Twenty-four eFireFlies will cover a Ten-foot(10) circle. That is about the Twice the size of a large backyard umbrella. Good for backyard landscaping, trade show booth displays, RV awnings, anywhere you want to make an impact. Imagine and use, then enjoy.

A. Twelve eFireFlies will cover about a five-foot + circle. Perfect for smaller setting, indoor planters, balconies or large window displays and more….

4. Are eFireFlies environmentally friendly? Back to top
Yes. eFireFlies are the Only product of its kind to conform to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) adopted by the European Union. This means you are buying a product that is lead, cadmium and mercury-free. You are also minimizing your impact on the environment since all other components, down to the packaging, are designed to recycle or are made from renewable sources. 5. How long will the indoor eFireFlies run on a single charge? Back to top
A single four-hour charge will run the eFireFlies for 4 days, 24/7/365 when attached to the transformer. The fact is they will work longer than 4 days with XC- 24 and about 5 days with XC-12.

6. Are the eFireFlies rugged enough for prolonged outdoor use? Back to top
Yes. The solar panel is constructed of impact and UV resistant polycarbonate plastic and rust proofed stainless steel screws. The eFireFlies lights are high-grade lights. Aerospace engineers, using the most robust components available, designed the electronics yo military standards. You can rest assured that your eFireFlies are designed to give you many years of trouble-free life guaranteed. 2 years Un-limited warranty talks about how we designed it.

7. You just received your new eFireFlies. Now what do you do? Back to top
In about 10 minutes, you can install the lights yourself. Twist-ties can attach the lights to whatever suits your imagination. You can simply tie the light end on a branch, with about 4 inches hanging, so the flexible Stems move when the wind blows. After you have done that, plug the connector into the eFireFlies Unit XP solar panel in the back and at sundown, the photocell will automatically engage the light show. Plug-and Play, it’s that simple! Want to get that party started before sunset? Cover the eFireFlies Unit XP solar photo cell and it goes off(you can use a paper bag to cover the solar unit). Please see our user-friendly manual for more details. With the eFireFlies indoor Unit XC AC/DC/ & Mobile battery powered model, once the transformer is plugged into a wall outlet, your show goes 24/7/365. When the rechargeable batteries are charged, you can unplug the unit from the charger connector and move the eFireFlies anywhere you want.
A tip: you can buy an extra set of eFireFlies wires, and then all you have to do is plug the wire connector to the mobile XC unit, and let it amaze you. Rather than moving all stems and installing them else where.

8. How many mounting options do you have in placing the outdoor eFireFlies Unit XP solar? Back to top
You are provided Two.
One option is to attach an adjustable bracket to the back of the solar panel. A garden spike slips into the bracket, which in turn can be driven into soft soil and adjusted toward the sunlight.
Your second option is to attach the adjustable wall mount bracket. You can mount it on any horizontal or vertical surface then aim your eFireFlies Unit XP solar panel toward the sun. It also acts as a Theft Deterrant when mounted on high surfaces. We provided 2 screws 7 2 anchors.

9. Does the outdoor eFireFlies Unit XP-24 or XP-12 solar panel require direct sunlight? Back to top
No. However, indirect exposure for (4) to (5) hours per day is suggested. You should install your eFireFlies Unit XP solar panel oriented towards maximum sun exposure.

10. Is it true that real fireflies simply do not turn on and off? Back to top
True. Our eFireFlies are unique in the market since they are inspired by, and reminiscent of real fireflies. Our eFireFlies randomly flash, twinkle, fade on and fade off. You will love watching them for hours, yet almost never see the same pattern twice.

11. What kinds of batteries are recommended to run the solar-powered eFireFlies? Back to top
We include three high capacity, long life, and rechargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. You can charge and discharge these batteries over and over again for about one year +. After that, we recommend using high quality AA rechargeable batteries such as ours(offered at web site).
You can use alkaline batteries as well, but they are more Expensive in the long run and will end up in a landfill within days. Most electronic stores now accept NiMH batteries for recycling. At the end of the battery’s life cycle, please do your part for our environment and dispose of it properly. We recommend using our batteries from the website, since we have tested them.
